Abstract |
Every years, the author studied the demonstration rates for the digenetic larval trematodes from fresh-water fish collected in the river Kumho, Kyungpook Province, Korea.
In 1985, three kinds of fresh-water fish, Gnathopogon atromaculatus, Pseudorasbora parva and Pungtungia herzi harbored the metacercaria of C. sinensis before a heavy rain. While five kinds of fresh-water fish, G. atromaculatus, Microphysogobio koreensis, Pseudogobio esocinus, P. parva and P. herzi were infested with the metacercaria after the rain.
It was found that the intensity of infestation of the metacercaria in the three kinds of fish, G. atromaculatus, P. parva and P. herzi dropped markedly after a heavy rain.
