Studies on Serum Lipids in Diabetic Patients
당뇨병 환자에게 혈청지질치에 관한 고찰

Abstract
Serum lipids level were studied in 80 normal controls and diabetic patients who admitted or visited to outpatient department of Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital from Jan. 1984. to Oct. 1984. The result are summarized as follows: 1. The mean values of total lipid, triglyceride, ^-lipoprotein, total cholesterol, free fatty acid were higher significantly in diabetic patients than in normal controls. (P <0.001?-P <0.05) The mean values of phospholipid were higher significantly only in female diabetic patients than in normal female controls. (P <0. 002) The mean values of HDL-cholesterol were lower only in male diabetic patients than in normal male controls. (P<0.05) 2. In diabetic patient with higher blood sugar level, there were increases in the mean values of total lipid, triglyceride, total cholesterol, phospholipid, free fatty acid while there was decrease in the mean value of 션-lipoprotein. 3. In diabetic patients with overweight or obesity, there were increases in the mean values of total lipid, triglyceride, ^-lipoprotein, total cholesterol, phospholipid, free fatty acid while there was no difference in the mean values of HDL-cholesterol.
